Two kids, one parent, three printers
The Fun FAB started the way most of these things do — one printer, one kid who wanted a dinosaur, and a spool of green PLA. The dinosaur came out badly. The second one came out well enough that a friend asked for twenty of them for a birthday party.
Now it's a proper little workshop. The kids run the slicer and do the sanding, the parent does the boring parts, and everything that leaves here has been looked at by all three of us. If a print has a blemish we reprint it rather than send it — which is why our reject bin is full of perfectly good dinosaurs.
We print party door gifts, school name tags, fidget toys and whatever else people send us. Some of it is our own design; a lot of it is other people's ideas that we've made printable.
